We are hiring Helpdesk Software Support Agents to support clients in their day-to-day business operations.
This is not an IT, Networking, or Computer engineering position. If your background is mainly in Networking, AI, software development, or advanced IT infrastructure, this role will not be a good fit.

About the role
This position focuses on supporting businesses that use POS and ERP systems. The work is practical, operational, and customer-facing.
You will help clients solve real usage issues related to sales, inventory, and daily system operations. The role requires availability to work evenings and/or weekends when needed and is suitable for a junior-level candidate.

Who this role is best suited for
This position is a strong fit for candidates who have:

• Previous experience working in restaurants, cafés, retail shops, or similar environments

• Experience working with any POS system or POS software company

• An MIS background with practical knowledge of inventory, stock control, and basic operations

If you understand how a business runs at the counter, in the back office, and during busy hours, you will likely do well in this role.

Responsibilities

• Create and resolve support tickets through email, chat, and other digital platforms

• Assist customers with operational and POS-related questions

• Troubleshoot basic computer and network issues (no advanced IT work)

• Follow up with customers to ensure full resolution

• Diagnose BIM POS system issues

• Install updates and software patches

• Provide remote support when required

• Update user manuals and documentation

• Collect feedback to help improve support processes

• Hands-on experience in testing business applications and working with requirements

Bonus Points (Nice to Have)

• Experience with POS or retail/hospitality systems
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Exposure to testing APIs or database validation using SQL
• ISTQB certification or equivalent QA training

Job Purpose

Offer support and technical assistance to customers who are using BIM POS software, POS hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to clients’ computers.

Job Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, test and repair computer hardware, software, systems, networks, CCTV, and PABX.
• Creating and resolving support tickets through email, chat, whatsapp, BIM LOG and other digital platforms
• Providing technical assistance for business operation questions and problems.
• Resolving problems with software and other computer systems.
• Following up with customers to ensure full resolution of issues.
• Diagnosing system errors and other issues.
• Requesting feedback and/or monitoring calls and other methods of correspondence to improve support methods.
• Installing or updating software patches to fix issues.
• Upgrade BIM POS software applications and install patches at clients.
• Repair and replace equipment as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in a support or similar IT position.
• Holder of –Computer science degree or similar degree in the IT field

BIM POS Egypt is looking to hire a vibrant and dynamic Telesales Agent, preferably female, to make cold calls and schedule appointments for Sales Reps:

The Telesales Agent should be able to:

• Introduce the company and gather information about decision makers, get phone numbers, and schedule appointments for presales meetings via the telephone.
• Use scripts to provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits
• Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements
• Make cold calls, answer phone calls from interested prospects and identify the customer's needs.
• Identify and outreach potential customers by researching about clients on the internet (yellow pages, social media…)
